Q -- SERVICES OF VASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST SOL DADA15-96-R-0028 DUE 070196 POC Contract Specialist RENITA SMITH (202) 782-1247 (Site Code DADA15) Contractor shall provide one (1) vascular technologist for a one (1) year period with four (4) one (1) year option periods at Vascular Surgery, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C. The vascular technologist shall be certificed as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the Association of Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Must have successfully completed a program of formal education as recommended by the ARDMS. The program of formal education shall be twenty- four (24) months in length or equivalent experience. Vascular Technologist must possess knowledge in vascular medicine technology. Must have acquired experience which has provided some familiarity with medical care, anatomy, and pysiology, vascular medicine imaging procedures, vascular medicine and equipment, duplex ultrasonography.
