intends to enter into a Requirements Contract, which includes a base
year and four option years, with a delivery of 30 days for each
delivery order to Federal Correctional Institution Jesup, Georgia.
Item: Poly Thread, 50/2, 40 Tex, with a minimum strength of 2.7 pounds
and a maximum elongation of 35 percent, constructed of a spun
polyester with a polyester core of a high tenacity. The color of the
thread shall be dyed Khaki P-1, C.A. 66019 or equal, and shall show
colorfastness to laundering, perspiration and light, equal to or better
than a rating of good. The thread shall conform to type II of
Commercial Item Description A-A-50199, dated June 30 1989, with all
Amendments, Modifications, and Contractual changes. Estimated quantity
desired is 6,000 cones. Each cone shall contain not less than 11,000
yards and not more than 12,000 yards of material. Delivery order
limitations is minimum 48 pounds and maximum is 6,000 pounds. All
