Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Aircraft
Braking Systems Corp, Akron Oh 44306-4186. To: Parker-Hannifin Corp,
Avon Oh 44011-1297. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed
requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All
responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation
which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms
or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with
the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed.
Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement
described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by
the Government. Requests for copies of solicitations must reference the
entire solicitation number, including purchasing office identification
number. To expedite your request, limit the number of individual
solicitation numbers requested per letter to not more than 10. Don't
request information on this requirement until after the issue date. An
Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or
potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this
acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the
authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to
communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and
recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When
requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the
source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the
evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested

not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part
from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to
buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse
engineer the part. Beginning May 1996, Ogden Air Logistics Center/PK
(00-ALC/PK), Hill Air Force Base, Utah will begin a ''phase in''
process, distributing drawings associated with solicitation packages on
CD ROM. Aircraft, Commodities and Missile Procurements will be
affected. The ''phase in'' process will be by NSN. During this period
data may be available on CD-ROM, Floppy Disk, or aperature cards.
CD-ROM is the medium of preference. After SEP 1996 data available by
CD-ROM will gradually increase. The minimum set-up requirements to view
the drawings supplied by OO-ALC areas follows: 386 INTEL 33MHZ
processor or higher; 8 MEGABYTES RAM; Any size hard drive; CD ROM
reader (1X, 2X OR 4X); 14'' color monitor (17'' is recommended) DOS 5.0
or higher; windows 3.1 or higher, UNZIP software. To provide comments
