Work will involve installation of additional grounded receptacles with independent neutrals and new panel-board, installation of sediment/carbon treatment filter for domestic water storage tank/potable water, installation of a sprinkler system, installation of built-in foam system over diesels and fuel storage area, installation of kitchen exhaust hood fire suppression system, installation of atmospheric monitoring system, installation of carbon filter system, replacement, and construction of protective structures for fresh air intakes, diesel combustion air intakes, and diesel exhaust ports. Projects are located at FEMA Region VI, 800 North Loop 288, Denton, Texas, approximately 38 miles North of Dallas, Texas. The facility is a three (3) story concrete structure with two floors underground. The contract period shall be for one year. The estimated cost range is $250,000 to $500,000. The Government anticipates the award of a firm fixed-price contract. The estimated start date for this project is September 1, 1996.
