BZDUSEK, (513)366-2003 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment and services for a Contractor to make miscellaneous improvements at the USEPA, ERL, Duluth, Minnesota research facility. The project includes; Replacing six existing air handlers located on the second floor mechanical core of the main lab building with three new larger units. New units and ducting must be installed before old units are removed. Perform a complete building air balance; Replace existing emergency electrical power switch gear, controls and wiring; Replace existing CT room refrigeration equipment and piping. New compressors to use a CTC free refrigerant. All project work is inside a working research laboratory and will require dust and dirt control, and careful coordination and planning to hold equipment down time to a minimum or zero. The Project is estimated above $500,000.00 but less than $750,000.00. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be ready for issuance around the 24th of June with a bid opening around the 24th of July. THIS IS NOT A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
