J -- MODIFICATION OF BOA N00024-95-G-6538 TO ADD REQUIREMENT FOR REAPIR AND INSTALLATION OF AN/BSY-1 TRANSMIT GROUP COMPONENTS SOL N00024-95-G-6538 POC Heather Jackson, SEA 02621H, Contracts Specialist, 703-602-7703. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to modify Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-95-G-6538 with Raytheon Electronic Systems, 1847 W. Main Rd, Portsmouth, RI 02871 to add a requirement for repair and maintenance services in support of the Raytheon manufactured components and systems of the AN/BSY-1 Transmit Group. Orders will be issued on multiple occasions over the period of BOA N00024-95-G-6538 for materials and engineering services for engineering changes, and repairs to the Raytheon Electronic Systems, Portsmouth, manufactured components and subsystems of the AN/BSY-1 Transmit Group. Orders will be issued for fabrication, testing, and furnishing of retrofit/modification kits, field engineering services, associated support and unique test equipment for the Raytheon manufactured components and subsystems on all configurations of the AN/BSY-1 (V) and AN/BSY-1(V) TG shipsets and associated trainers. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Raytheon, as the developer and sole producer of the Raytheon manufactured components and subsystems of the AN/BSY-1(V), is the only company which possesses the knowledge, experience, tooling, and equipemnt necessary to perform the tasks described herein.
