J -- MODIFICATION OF BOA N00024-95-G-6538 TO ADD REQUIREMENT FOR REPAIR AND INSTALLATION OF AN/BSY-1 TRANSMIT GROUP COMPONENTS SOL N00024-95-G-6538 POC Heather Jackson, Contracts Specialist, SEA 02621H, 703-602-7703. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to modify Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-95-G-6538 with Raytheon Electronic Systems, 1847 W. Main Rd, Portsmouth, RI 02871 to add a requirement for repair and maintenance services in support of the Raytheon manufactured components and systems of the AN/BSY-1 Transmit Group. Orders will be issued on multiple occasions over the period of BOA N00024-95-G-6538 for materials and engineering services for engineering changes, and repairs to the Raytheon Electronic Systems, Portsmouth, manufactured components and subsystems of the AN/BSY-1 Transmit Group. Orders will be issued for preparation and completion of Engineering Change Instruction (ECI) documentation and ECI related technical manual changes and training, procurement, or fabrication of ECI material. In addition, orders will be issued to Raytheon to provide spare/repair parts for Raytheon manufactured components and subsystems on all configurations of the AN/BSY-1 (V) and AN/BSY-1(V) TG shipsets and associated trainers. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Raytheon, as the developer and sole producer of the Raytheon manufactured components and subsystems of the AN/BSY-1(V), is the only company which possesses the knowledge, experience, tooling, and equipemnt necessary to perform the tasks described herein.
