812-854-1391 The Navy requires 1 each Scanning Electron
Microscope/Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy system. The procurement
will include FOB destination delivery to NSWC, Crane, IN, within 150
days after award of contract, installation, preliminary inspection at
source with final inspection and acceptance at destination, training,
and one-year maintenance options for four years after expiration of
commercial warranty period. NSWC Crane performance specification and
statement of work will be utilized in the solicitation. Technical
minimum requirements include a specimen chamber large enough to
accommodate specimens up to 8 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches thick,
magnification range of 12x to 800,000x, and a vacuum system with a
turbo molecular pump. FAR Part 12 procedures will be used. All
responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered
