It is modified as follows: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announces that it plans to acquire 35 each, Capture Effect Glide Slope (CEGS) Antenna and Phase Control Units (APCUs) from single source Wilcox Electric, Inc. (Wilcox). Wilcox Type FA-9928, P/N 098240-0400. These APCUs are applicable to the National Service Life Extension Project for Mark 1b and 1c instrument landing systems. These supplies are only known to be manufactured by Wilcox because proprietary data or the Governments lack of technical data, plans, drawings, specifications or other documentation required for competition. This acquisition will be made pursuant to the 1996 DOT Appropriations Act, signed into law as Public Law 104-50 on November 15, 1996. This modification replaces the original announcement. (0130)
