This is a combination firm fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contract. Anticipated start date is 1 Sep 96. Period of performance consists of a 16-month base year, from 1 Sep 96 or date of award through 31 Dec 97, which includes a 4-month implementation period (1 Sep - 31 Dec 96), with four 12 month options. This acquisition is being solicited under the authority of Sec 816 of the 1995 Defense Authorization Act, DEMONSTRATION PROJECT ON PURCHASE OF FIRE, SECURITY, POLICE, PUBLIC WORKS, AND UTILITY SERVICES FROM LOCAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES.
