Aleta F. Wall, Contract Specialist, (904) 884-1256. The Air Force seeks
sources to provide information concerning polyurethane or styrofoam
type spray-on insulation (R-11+ factor), and necessary safety
equipment. Insulation quantity estimated will equal that needed to
cover a 65,000 square foot structure. Insulation is required to adhere
to .040 inch thick steel with a baked on finish. Application must
perform in an environment with temperatures of approximately 120
degrees Fahrenheit. Product must be fire resistant and stable when the
structure to which it is applied is subjected to shifting caused by
winds of 40-60 miles per hour. Information, specification, and pricing
relative to special equipment required for application purposes as
well as required safety equipment for personnel are requested. All
items will be subject to air shipment by the Air Force from point of
delivery to destination; therefore, information concerning storage
restrictions, weight of products and equipment, and any other special
transportation requirement should be furnished. Please submit all
necessary documentation for thorough evaluation. This is a source
sought only. It is not a request for proposal or an indication that the
Air Force intends to contract for these items. The Air Force will not
pay for information received in response to this request for
