The U. S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the renovation of
existing retail space for the Buffalo, NY/Williamsville Postal Store at
Williamsville Place Plaza at 5451 Sheridan Drive. Work includes, but is
not limited to, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and interior
finishes, and related miscellaneous work. The estimated cost of the
work is between $200,000.00 and $500,000.00, with completion within 135
calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be
received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on June
5, 1996. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers
received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or
relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until
award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications
will be available o/a May 8, 1996 at a cost of $35.00 per set
(non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S. Postal
Service, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300. Certified checks
or money orders only, made payable to the Disbursing Officer, U. S.
Postal Service (Reference Solicitation No. 082530-96-A-0077). Plans may
be inspected at the issuing office and information regarding their
availability may be obtained by contacting Cathy Cosgrove at (860)

There will be a preproposal conference for this project at the site on
Wednesday, May 22, 1996 @ 1:00 p.m. Prospective offerors are
