Purchase, delivery and installation of two (2) Acoustic Systems sound module practice rooms, or equal. Sound rooms shall be rated at a Noise Isolation Coefficient of 40. Size of rooms shall be no less than 9 feet by 11 feet for room one and 12 feet by 16 feet for room two with each ceiling no less than 7 feet. Sound rooms shall have a large glass panel door having two panes of safety glass insulated by a 2 inch sealed air space which is lined with perforated absorption panel. Sound room door panes shall be of different thickness so they will not resonate at the same frequency. The sound room door shall have double sealed top and sides with adjustable neoprene sweep seal against ramped metal threshold. Sound room ventilation and electrical systems shall be independent of one another and use standard 110 voltage. Sound rooms shall have fluorescent lighting provided inside with special electronic ballast's to prevent fluorescent humm. Sound rooms shall have at least 2 double electrical outlets. The sound rooms ventilation system shall be capable of full fresh air exchange every two minutes. Sound rooms ventilation system must run with no fan or air noise. Sound rooms must have a floating type floor. Sound rooms must not mount or bolt to the structure of the facility. All items will be purchased, delivered and installed at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. Bids will be accepted on an F.O.B. Destination basis only.
