Contracting Officer (202) 927-8820. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and
Firearms intends to contract with an 8(a) source to provide personal
computers (pc), peripheral equipment, pre-packaged software and depot
repair services. The equipment purchased through the contract will be
for hardware and software to include but not limited to: Desktop
Personal Computer: 486DX4/Intel microprocessor and Pentium
microprocessor; Monitor: 14'' diagonal color, 17'' diagonal color and
14'' non interlace; Mouse; Internal DAS: 535 MB SCSI, 1.05 GB SCSI, 2.1
GB SCSI, 2.1 GB SCSI, and 4.3 GB SCSI; CD-ROM Drive; Laser Printer;
Color Laser Printer; Laptop Computers; Optical Character Reader
(scanner); Interfacing; Expansion/Add-On's; Tape Backup Drive;
Software: Harvard Graphics- all versions; Word Perfect ver 5.1 for
Windows & DOS; Word Perfect ver 5.2 for Windows & DOS; Paradox for DOS
ver 4.5; Paradox for Windows ver 5.0; PC Anywhere - all vesions;
Procomm - all versions; Lotus 1-2-3 - all versions; Hyper access;
Winfax ver 4.5; DOS ver 6.0; Windows ver v3.1 & v3.11; Rbase - all
versions; and VS-COM. The equipment delivery locations are the 48
contiguous states, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and
Guam. As determined by the Bureau, a minimal amount of depot remedial
repair services will be required for 486 and some 386 systems. Any
contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will have a period of
performance of 60 months (base year plus 4-one year option periods).
This is a competitive 8(a) requirement and all interested parties must
submit to ATF, in writing, their request for a copy of Solicitation
No. BATF 96-1. Requests for copies of the solicitation must be sent to
the address in block no. 7 or faxed to (202) 927-8688. Any 8(a) firm
who responded to the sources sought CBD dated November 3, 1995 will
