to Texarkana, TX and 14 each to Stockton, CA. Deliveries with First
Article Test will be 11 ea, 648 days ADC with 14 ea subsequant.
Delivery of First Article Test Report is 498 days ADC. Deliveries
without First Article Test is 11 ea, 480 days ADC, with 14 each
thereafter. This procurement requires prequalification. All responsible
sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
Authority and justification is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Source or Only a
Limited Number of Responsible Sources. This proposed contract action
is for supplies for which the Government does not have specifications
and drawings to permit full and open competition; however, it is
restricted to approved source(s) Bell Helicopter Textron, Ft. Worth, TX
and Vanaero Co., Sun Valley, CA. The time required for approval of new
supplies is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending
approval of a new source. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval
in order to compete for future solicitations IAW the instructions
contained in Section L of the solicitation. Information on meeting of
