The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for research, development, engineering, design studies for fiber optic sensor systems, and laboratory research involving the construction and testing of model sensor systems. Included are the areas of engineering developments, the construction and testing of prototype models, field tests in a Navy environment, test data reduction, test results, evaluation and presentation, and technical reports with specifications, drawings and support documents. The development of technical documents are the end results which support the overall objectives for the design of fiber optic sensor systems for use. Period of Performance will be three (3) years with two (2) one-year options. SECRET clearances will be required prior to award.
