323- 2165. Engineerinmg, analytical, investigative, research,
documentation and other technical support services in connection with
assigned delivery orders for the following areas: Spare parts
Procurement Support, Parts Control Program, Survivability, Production
Base Analysis, Ozone Depletion Abatement Program, Acquisition Reform
and the following: Defense Specification and Standardization Program
(DSSP): Contractor to provide various levels of technical support
(i.e., research, investigative, reviews, evaluation and
recommendations) in support of Electromagnetic Enviromental Effects,
Aircraft Standard Systems, Equipment, Hardware, Parts and Processes,
Aircraft/Weapon System Support, Preservation and Protective Materials,
Aircraft Instruments, Lead Standardization Activity (LSA),
Configuration Management, Metrication and International
Standardization. Subsystem Engineering: Contractor shall provide
engineering drawings and documentation support including Computer Aided
Design (CAD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for existing programs
and new programs. Manufacturing Technology: Contractor shall provide
technical support relative to the Industrial Modernization and
Incentives Program (IMIP) and production readiness related material to
the Manufacturing Technology Competency. Carrier Analysis: Contractor
shall provide analysis, technical support and documentation relative
to new and existing aircraft spotting, handling and operations aboard
U.S. Navy ships. The contractor shall furnish services to conduct
analytical investigations into ship propulsion systems and furnish
personnel to conduct intelligence analysis of Russian shipboard
facilities. Engineering Development Support: Contractor shall provide
engineering and technical support to research, review and develop
technical directives affecting changes to components or subcomponents
of aircraft launcher, recovery, SE and VLA systems or installation and
revise engineering drawings to incorporate changes. Total level of
effort is 118,500 man hours for a 60 month period. No options. This
