A -- USARL, LANGASITE CRYSTAL BOULES AND POLISHED WAFERS POC Contact Point, Karen Bonafide, (908)427-3914 The ARL Fort Monmouth Contracts Branch intends to award a contract for a 12 month effort for the R&D and Procurement of Langasite Crystal Boules and Polished Wafers. High Quality Langasite Crystal and its Chemical Variants will be examined for demanding applications in Frequency Control. Procured crystal must be a good electrical Q and demonstrate low defect densities sufficient for further device processing on polished wafers. Device processing is not included within this effort. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the ARL Fort Monmouth Contracts Branch. See Note 22. (0121)
