Work includes renovation of Bldg 807 and the replacement of the roofing system; modification of existing fire protection/alarm system; shower remodeling and upgrade of restrooms to handicap criteria; replacement of HVAC system and other mechanical equipment; demolition of existing walls and construction of seismic resistant walls in their place, electrical upgrade/repairs, floor, wall and ceiling finishes; and door replacement. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Pursuant to P.L. 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, this solicitation is classified as unrestricted. Requests for copies of this proposed procurement should be submitted IN WRITING, state the solicitation number, and provide complete name, address, phone number and business size of the requestor. Additionally, requestors should indicate whether they intend to bid as a prime contractor, subcontractor or supplier.
