ADAL Water Supply System - This project includes all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and performance necessary for the construction of an improved water supply infrastructure to McConnell AFB. Work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 1350 linear feet of 10 and 12 inch main water supply lines, a water treatment station, a water meter, and valves necessary to provide alternate water supply to McConnell AFB and increased volume of water. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Anticipated issuance date for IFB Solicitation Number F14614-96-B0007 is 15 May 96. Tentative bid opening date is 14 Jun 96. Performance period will be 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice of Proceed. Standard Classification Code (SIC) is 1623. This action is being considered for 100% set-asides for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 10 calendar days of this notice. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially, and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capacity to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Project requirements will be made available on or about 15 May 96. No telephone requests for bid sets will be honored. All requests for bid sets or bidder mailing lists must be in writing.
