The purpose and intent of this solicitation is to obtain the supply and delivery of a Small Plot Seed Combine. The specifications are: track width (front and rear) 1160 mm minimum; driver wheels and steering wheels should have enough height to maximize ground clearance and width should not exceed 16''; minimum ground clearance 190 mm; hydrostatic drive stepless front and rear with high range (0-18 mph), low range (0-8 mph); hydraulic steering, reel speed controller at driver's station; necessary gauges and control devices at driver's station; 50-60 hp water-cooled diesel engine; 15-20 gallon fuel tank; standard header with minimum 59'', maximum 79'' cutting width including reel and conveyor belt; hydraulic drive conveyor belt with variable speed and reverse; hydraulic height adjustment for cutting head; threshing drum for fine seed with variator for stepless adjustment and electronic tachometer for operator; suitable concave for fine seed with quick side exchange capability (10 bars/120 degree wrap or threshing concave 6 mm); quick concave clearance adjustment capability; high volume cleaning fan with adjustable speed; shaker surface area 1.6-1.8 square meters; sieve surface area maximized for cleaning with interchangeable sieve sizes suitable for various grass seed sizes; seed delivery system to enable quick, efficient seed removal and cleanout.
