(201)724-3274. The U.S. Army ARDEC intends to procure, on a sole source
basis from ARMTEC Defense Products Company,Coachella CA, 260,248
Container Assemblies and Closures for the M230 Propelling Charge used
in the 120mm Battalion Mortar System. This requirement will include
four options. The option quantities are estimated at 860,00 units
maximum for 1997, 860,000 units maximum for 1998, 880,000 units maximum
for 1999, and 860,000 units maximum for 2000. The Government will be
responsible for conducting ballistic testing. The contractor will be
required to sign a nondisclosure agreement before it can be provided
with a copy of this solicitation. Funds are not presently available for
this acquisition. No contract award will be made until appropriated
funds are made available from which payment can be made. See Note 13.
