Provide surveying and mapping service on National Park lands in Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, and West Virginia. Anticipated work, in descending order of magnitude, consists of topographic, utility, hydrographic, and boundary surveys, and construction survey stakeout. Project sizes will range from less than one to several hundred acres. An indefinite quantity contract for a base period and four option periods is contemplated. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Interested firms responding to this announcement by submitting a completed SF 254 and SF 255 by 4:00 pm, 5/15/96, will be considered for selection. Firms having a current SF 254 on file with this office must respond with a letter of interest and a completed SF 255 by the closing date. Information sent in addition to the above will be disregarded. Specific evaluation criteria in descending order of importance are as follows: 1. Specialized experience and technical competence in surveying, mapping, and CADD; 2. Past performance on similar work in terms of quality, cost control, and performance schedule compliance; 3. Professional qualifications and proposed key personnel experience as it relates to pertinent services; 4. Geographical proximity to the National Capital Area offices of a fully staffed professional office with multiple survey crews; 5. Capacity to accomplish work within time schedules.
