Swanson, Contract Specialist, (615)454-7841 Amendment: This solicitation, previously advertised in the CBD on Monday, 8 Apr 96, is amended as follows: This procurement is for two projects. One project consists of the construction of approximately 460 square yards of 9-inch conrete slab and 520 square yards of 4-inch plant mix asphalt cement paving. The project includes all necessary removal of existing gravel surface, associated grade preparation, and necessary grade determination required to furnish a complete and useable facility. The other project is to repave two parking areas with a total area of 5,570 square yards, located both south and west of the Base Civil Engineering Facility. Work includes removing existing bituminous pavement, providing new bituminous binder course and bituminous surface course, providing bumper blocks, and marking pavement. Bids will be evaluated to determine if awarding separate or combined line items (multiple awards) may be advantageous to the Government. Work shall be done at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. The performance period will be 90 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The estimate order of magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000.
