A -- ADAPTIVE PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION SOL RFO4-96005(SNP) DUE 062096 POC Contact Point: Salomon Perea, Contracting Officer, (805) 258-3337, FAX (805) 258-2904 NASA Dryden Flight Research Center has a requirement to solicit and negotiate under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2306(c)(1) with only one source, Orbital Sciences Corporation, 21700 Atlantic Blvd., Dulles, Virginia 20168 to acquire services necessary to support integration of NASA Research Engineering Test Station (RETS) with OSC's L-1011 aircraft. OSC would provide L-1011 flightplanning services and flight crew support for the research flights. This requirement is built on and is using prior work performed by OSC for the development of a L-1011 adaptive control capability. This procurement will consist of a baseline contract and two, one-year options. The period of performance is anticipated to be one year for the baseline and one year for eachoption. This Procurement is being conducted under the NASA MidRange Pilot Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy on April 16, 1993.
