number 9349124. A license agreement be-tween Colt'S manufacturing Co
Inc and the United States Government requires the items procured to be
manufactured in the United States. United States means the fifty
States and the district of Columbia. The successful offeror under this
Solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under the
contract, within the unitedstates. Requirements are for 82,727 each
barrel assembly. For use on the M16a2 rifle. FOB is origin. Proposed
contract is a 100% small business set-aside. MIL-Q-9858 inspection
criteria required. STA-tistical process control is required. First
article testing is required. All or part of this action is an unfunded
FY96 requirement. The Government anticipates a 5 year requirements
contract. The projected quantity of 82,727 each is what the Government
expects to pro-cure over the 5 year period. The minimum quantity of
12,102 each will obligated at time of award. Bidders are hereby
notified of the following requirement: In order to receive the
Solicitation and technical data package, all bidders are required to
execute anondisclosure agreement binding each bidder to the terms and
condi tions of the agreement. Copies of the nondisclosure agreement
shall be requested from ACALA, Attn: AMSTA-AC-pcx-E/MS. Cean Hartleben,
Rock Island, IL 61299-7630. The nondisclosre agreement must be signed
by an official authorized to legally bind the Company. Upon execution
of the nondisclosure agreement, return an original copy, certified mail
to the above address. The nondisclosure agreement will be available
prior to the issuance of the Solicitation. Bidders are EN couraged to
request, complete, and return the agreement as soon aspossible.
Estimated issued date of this Solicitation is 051096. Ef fective 1 Oct
94 AMCCOM separated into two new commands, the Indus-trial operation
command (IOC) and the Acquisition Chemical Armament Logistics Activity
(ACALA). It is imperative that special attention be Given when
addressing requests for solicitations and BIDS/offers. Failure to
properly address requests for solicitations in accordance with this CBD
notice will result in non-receipt of the solicitationpackage. Failure
to properly address BIDS/offers in accordance with Solicitation
instructions may result in a late bid which cannot beconsidered.
Written, FAX or electronic requests for Solicitation areaccepted. NO
telephone requests will be honored. Requests for cop-ies of this
Solicitation should include you Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE)
(if a CAGE Code has been assigned to you) along with your name,
address, datafax number, and Solicitation number. The FAX number for

the AMCCOM Acquisition Information System (AAIS). All AMCCOM
solicitations are available for viewing/downloading, in addition to
procurement history, via the AAIS. The AAIS can be AC-cessed

782-7648. Terminal emulation should be VT100, NO parity, 8 data bits
