Effective 1 June 1996, the US Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) will be implementing CD technology into its acquisition business process transitioning from aperture cards to CDs. Solicitation announcements will identify CDs as the media for drawing images when applicable. All CDs will be compatible with ISO 9660 and will work with all CD readers. The PC must have a 4mg memory. The software provided on the disks are compatible with any Intel Personal Computer that uses Microsoft Windows 3.1 or better.
