NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center intends to issue RFQ-72703/992, on a sole source basis to Hewlett Packard for the purchase of a VXI Embedded Controller Module Test and Measurement System under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1)-Only One Responsible Source. The system includes (1) HP VEE for 743/64 VXI Embedded Controller E2111D, (2) E1497A V743/64 VXI Embedded Controller with Option ANC-32MB total RAM A4030B keyboard and mouse option APS HP-UX 10.0 Option ABA English localization A4330A 17'' monitor EE3249A 2.1 GBYTE system disk, (3) Five each upgrade E1413A VXI cards part number E1413G, (4) option 060 for HP 3566A spectrum/network analyzer, (5) two each upgrades HP VEE for a HP 700 work station from full version E2111D option age. All items requested are for a quantity of one each unless otherwise specified. The embedded controller module test and measurement system must provide compatibility with an existing VXI system used for static load measurements and with a HP 3566A spectrum/network analyzer used in vibration and acoustic measurements. In addition, the system must be compatible with existing code modules for HP-VEE software. Any other firms desiring consideration must provide a written technical narrative statement of their capability, including detailed technical information and other technical literature, demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirements within 15 days of the publication of this notice to the address above. The response shall be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish bona fide capability to meet these requirements. NASA shall consider all proposals submitted by responsible sources. Selection will be based on technically acceptable, lowest price offer, meeting the required delivery date. All deliveries shall be quoted F.O.B Destination.
