DACW41) CONTRACT INFORMATION: THE PROPOSED INDEFINITE DELIVERY TYPE
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR 8(A) COMPETITIVE.
COMPETITION WILL BE LIMITED TO 8(A) FIRMS IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. The
work to be performed consists of Excavation/Removal of 15 Underground
Storage Tanks (UST'S), asbestos abatement and demolition of 3
buildings. Excavation/Removal of contaminated soils. Backfilling and
compaction of excavations and restoration. Disposal of solid wastes
from UST's, pumps and piping including perched groundwater,
contaminated soils, sludges and product present in UST's. Construction
of a cap over waste water lagoon area. All work shall be conducted in
accordance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Solicitations will be issued on or about April 26, 1996. The bid
opening date will be on or about May 28, 1996. Cost of plans and
specifications: Full Size Drawings - $24.00 per set and Half Size
Drawings - $20.00 per set (NON-REFUNDABLE). PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED IN THIS OFFICE. Estimated
cost of the proposed procurement: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
