Micro Computer Repair Training Class for 14 students, and Laser Printer Repair Training Class for 12 students. The length of each class is five (5) days. The training must include the following:(1) Train the repairman to utilize ''Guided Fault Investigation'' (Logical chain of troubleshooting); (b) Train the repairman to utilize proper shop safety procedures; (c) Train the repairman to troubleshoot and repair/replace to the ''LRU'' (Lowest Repairable Unit); (d) Train the repairman to repair/replace components to the ''LRU'' of monitors, printers, keyboards, cpu's, power supplies, floppy and hard drives, cd-roms and peripherals; (e) During the course of study the vendor should be able to provide components and assistance for all repairable equipment on site to be repaired at no extra cost to the Government. Anticipated start date of the class is 6 May 1996. The Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP) will be used in solicitation and award of contract. SIC Code is 8243. Size standard is 3.5 million. Written quotations by fax will be accepted. Contractors are required to submit a syllabus of their course with their quote. The anticipated award date is 26 April 1996.
