On May 21 and 22, 1996, at Oxnard, California, the Department of the Navy will present its annual Gold Coast Conference featuring this year the Department of Defense Thrust Program for Management Information including Simulation. The two-day program plan includes workshops (conducted by representatives from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Defense Logistics Agency, and selected prime contractors) covering the thrust subject, and presentations on searching for potential Defense markets, changes in procurement procedures resulting from acquisition reform activity, together with other information relating to the Defense acquisition process. Gallegly, 23rd District, California, will support and participate in this conference along with major Southern California Navy Procurement offices plus Air Force and civilian agencies.
