Center (EECEN), Wildwood, NJ is seeking sources for transmitters for
the USCG Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS). General
requirements: 1) variable output power up to 1000 watts; 2) broadcast
a signal in the frequency band of 283.5 KHz to 325.0 KHz; 3) completely
redundant system; 4) capable of battery backup; and 4) provide remote
control and status in accordance with the proposed Radio Technical
Commission for Maritime(RTCM) Recommended Standards for Differential
Navstar GPS Reference Stations and Integrity Monitors. The radio
frequency input signal is a Minimum Shift Keyed signal modulated at up
to 200 BPS on a frequency carrier in the frequency band of 283.5 KHz
to 325.0 KHz. This signal contains the DGPS corrections. The above
items are not all-inclusive, being only representative of general
requirements. Detailed specifications will be available at a later

literature on any current or planned equipment that satisfies the above
