Center intends to procure the following: Delivery 30 days after date of
contract. Hydraulic pump only. Denison P/N P6W-2R5-BC 10-00. Adapter
and coupling to mount above pump to an existing US Electric Motors Inc.
50 HP, 405 U frame, H-10 type 1200 rpm electric motor. Portable
hydraulic filter cart. Note: *Pumps and filter cart must be compatible
to phosphate ester, Houghto-safe 1110-1115. This note is to advise
that a written Request for Quotations (RFQ) is available as described
below. The proposed contract is 100 percent set aside for small
business concerns. This procurement is being conducted under the
Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a commercial item, see FAR
Part 12 FAR Clauses 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and
52.212-5 are incorporated by reference. All offers received from small
businesses will be considered for award. Offerors must request a copy
of the complete solicitation in order to submit a responsive offer.
Offerors should include their taxpayer identification number (TIN).
Award will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror within an
acceptable delivery schedule and lowest overall price. Evaluations will
be per line item, and award(s) will be for the best value to the
Government, technical, past performance and price being essentially
equal. Award is anticipated within 7 days of the date quotes are due.
Written requests must be received within 15 days of the publication
date of this synopsis and must include the solicitation number and
contract's name in the address. Telephonic request will not be honored.
An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors,
potential offerors, and contractors during the preaward and postaward
phases of this acquisition. The purpose of the ombudsman is not to
diminish the authority of the contracting officer, the Source
Evaluation Board, or the selection official, but to communicate
concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations of interested
parties to the appropriate Government personnel and to work to resolve
them. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict
confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The ombudsman does not
participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection
process, or the adjudication of formal contract disputes. Interested
parties are invited to call the installation ombudsman Belinda Adams at
804-864-8989. Concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations
which cannot be resolved at the installation may be referred to the
NASA ombudsman Tom Luedtke at 202-358-2090. Before consulting with any
ombudsman, interested parties must try to resolve their concerns with
