These decoy devices are expendable countermeasures for use fromNaval rotary and fixed wing aircraft. These devices shall be subjected to various types of testingfor the purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of the MJU-27/B unit against infrared-seekingmissiles. Delivery shall be F.O.B. destination to NAVSURFWARCEN Crane, IN within 40 daysof effective date of contract award. This procurement is being issued on a sole-source basis toAlloy Surfaces Co. Inc., 100 Locke Road, Wilmington, DE due to compatibility with existingunits previously procured under competitive procedures.
