The manuscripts include ``A History of the Office of the Secretary of Defense'', Vol. III, 1953-1956, and Vol. V, 1961-1965, as well as ``The Role of the Secretary of Defense in Foreign Affairs'', 1947-1985, and ``The Office of the Secretary of Defense and Western European Defense'', 1953-1961.
