A Pre-Proposal Conference for the Joint Simulation System (JSIMS) acquisition will be held on Monday, 29 April 1996, from 1300 to 1800 hours at the Hyatt Orlando Hotel, located in Kissimmee, FL. Draft versions of JSIMS Acquisition Documents will be posted electronically on the Hanscom Electronic RFP Bulletin Board (HERBB) beginning 8 April 1996 through 19 April 1996. HERBB may be reached via various means: (1) modem lines are available by calling (617) 377-1487 (8 phone lines, 28.8K BPS capable), (2) telnet into RFP.hanscom.af.mil or 129.53.28.211, or (3) access Hanscom's web site at http://www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil. We request that attendees review these draft documents and submit questions and comments in advance of the conference. Due to the incremental release of draft documents we recommend that HERBB be checked daily. All questions should be sent to MAJ Hank Raum at the following email address: raumh@stricom.army.mil. The JSIMS Joint Program Office (JPO) will consolidate all questions submitted via email and provide questions and answers as hand-outs at the Pre-Proposal Conference. All submissions will remain anonymous. Before and during the Pre-Proposal Conference we encourage open interchange of information between the JPO and our industry partners. There is no fee for attending the conference.
