81 -- PURCHASE OF CORRUGATED BOXES SOL RFQ IRS-96-SE-0005 DUE 051096 POC Joy Bell, Contracting Officer, 770/488-9503 The IRS, Southeast Region intends to purchase shipping boxes in two sizes. Box #1 is 11 1/4'' by 8 3/4'' by 6 7/8'' (28.58cm x 22.23cm x 17.46cm) for a quantity of 102,000 each. Box #2 is 11 1/4'' by 8 3/4'' by 5'' (28.58cm x 22.23cm x 12.70cm) for a quantity of 13,000 each. Both type of boxes must be corrugated, fiberboard, domestic service class, single wall, bursting strength (PSI) 200, regular slotted box. Four flaps on top and bottom, outer flaps meet when closed. 25 boxes per bundle must be pelletized at a height no greater than 55'' (1.4m). Deliveries will be stagered with final delivery to be made by 09/30/96. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. See notes 1 and 26.
