Transamerica Occidental Life Insurance Company (TOLIC) which currently is under contract with HCFA for Medicare Part B claims processing is seeking sources and quotations for the physical storage of Medicare claims and payment records. Qualified vendors must meet the requirements as defined in 36 CFR 1228.222, National Archives and Records Administration, Subpart K - Agency Records Centers. Quotations should address a base quantity of 10,000 boxes with monthly volume of 256 boxes, in addition to cost visibility for destruction and permanent removal, and transportation. Transportation is from Los Angeles, California. Interested parties should submit in writing to the Records and Services manager at the address specified above, their quotations and compliance with the referenced CFR for consideration in future agreements and for informational purposes.
