The Department of Education intends to acquire on a sole source basis, services and facilities necessary to provide GSA centrex lines, which are installed for Department employees to utilize, provided by Southwestern Bell, Dallas, TX. The purpose of this contract is to enable the representatives of the department to be provided with WITS and centrex lines. This service will be acquired through Southwestern Bell, since no other source can satisfy ED's requirements. See Numbered Note 22. (0096)
