Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm, fixed price contract for the collection of approximately 39 sediment samples from vibrocore borings with an option for increased quantities. This acquisition is being processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The work is to be performed in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of New Jersey. The project site is located up to seven (7) miles offshore from the Barnegat Inlet. The performance period for the work is within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of contract award. Solicitation No. DACW61-96-Q-0167 will be issued on or about April 9, 1996 with a closing date of April 23, 1996 at 1645 hours at the local place of opening.
