Gomez, 303-497-5133 The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Environmental Research Laboratories, Forecast Systems Laboratory intends to purchase ten (10) Seagate 4.0GB Hawk Disk Drives, Intel Part No. PSCDD4 and one (1) Intel 128MB MIO Boot Node with cables, Intel Part No. PSCMP128SIO16B to upgrade its Intel XP/S 15 Paragon Super Computer. Intel Corporation (Phone No. 503/677-4347), 15201 N.W. Greenbrier Parkway, Beaverton, Oregon 97996 is considered to be the only known qualified source that can provide this system upgrade. In the absence of other qualified sources it is the intent of the Government to negotiate a sole source contract with Intel under ''other than full and open competition'' procedures, pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) - only one responsible source-and 40 U.S.C. 759(g), as amended. Interested concerns must submit a written qualification statement to clearly establish their ability to provide the system upgrade.
