MACHINES, WINCHES AND ASSOCIATES CONTROLS SOL N00024-96-G-4160 POC

Vollmer,(703) 602-8116. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) plans to
issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering
Agreement N00024-96-G-4160 with Almon A. Johnson, Inc., 615 Hope Road,
Victoria Plaza, Building 1, Eatontown, NJ 07724-1273. Orders will be
issued for the disassembly, inspection, repair, overhaul and/or
modification of Government-Furnished Automatic Towing Machines,
Minesweeping Winches, Stern Anchor Winches, Traction Winches and
associated controls. These machines include Series 320, 322 and 400.
Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). The BOA and
orders thereunder will be placed on a sole source basis with the
equipment OEM, Almon A. Johnson, Inc., as it is the only firm
possessing the proprietary data rights and expertise necessary to
accomplish the work in a timely and cost effective manner. See Numbered
