The Federal Highway Administration requires technical support for the Photometric Research Laboratory to carry out a variety of scientific projects such as: minimum retroreflectivity values for signs and pavement markings, use of UV headlights in combination with fluorescent TCD's, inter-laboratory comparisons of measurements of fluorescence, calibration of photocontrols for roadway lighting, evaluation of roadway lighting designs, field measurement procedures for traffic signals, and other devices and systems for improving nighttime visibility and guidance. This is a Small Purchase/Simplified Acquisition. The FHWA's new Simplified Acquisition threshold is $50,000. Award will be made via a Purchase Order based on price and evaluation criteria as set forth in the RFQ. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.
