Hansen, (317)306-3039 Modify previous ad of 12 Mar 96 for ''Mounts for FLIRs on Navy H-60 Helos'' to add 22 Left-Hand Extended Pylons (LHEPs), in accordance with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation drawing 70209-82541-049. The LHEP is a structural attachment of the H-60 helicopter airframe that provides an additional store station to carry weapons or auxiliary fuel tanks. The LHEP must be foldable and capable of accommodating a BRU-14/A weapon/stores rack and must already have been qualified/certified on both HH-60H and SH-60F helicopters prior to delivery starting in April 1997. Sole-source procurement from Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, Connecticut 06601-1381, is justified since the LHEP is a structural component developed for H-60 aircraft under current contract by Sikorsky and requires Sikorsky's unique knowledge, experience and expertise to continue production, support and installation.
