The work includes the construction of a new medical/dental clinic of approximately 26,367 square feet. The building will be single story and of permanent construction, with CMU and stucco walls, painted steel beams and trusses, steel frame and concrete floors on compacted fill. Interior construction will consist of gypsum board and metal stud partitions, acoustical lay-in and gypsum board ceilings and flooring of carpet, tile, resilient tile and sheet vinyl. There will be a large central corridor and waiting area, naturally lighted by clerestory glazing. The clinic will contain examination rooms, offices, waiting areas, administrative areas, and equipment and storage rooms. Electrical, telephone, fire alarm, lightning protection, automatic fire protection, water, storm, sanitary sewer, and heating, ventilating and air conditioning will be provided. A free-standing ambulance canopy of approximately 2,100 square feet will also be constructed. Site improvements will include new paved parking areas totaling approximately 14 parking spaces.
