Introduction: The Milstar Joint Terminal Program Office (JTPO) and the
MILSATCOM Joint Program Office (MJPO) announce the 1996 MILSATCOM
Terminal Technology and Ground Control Technology Seminar. The purpose
of the seminar is threefold: 1.) To provide a unique opportunity for
the SATCOM development community, both Industry and Government, to
discuss advanced concepts and ongoing terminal and ground control
technology development. 2.) To provide a forum for the MJPO to brief
the MILSATCOM Technology Program status and receive Industry comments.
3.) For Government and Industry to exchange information on terminal
and ground control technology development status to assist the MJPO's
MILSATCOM Technology Program and provide input to the 2010 SATCOM
architecture. Seminar: The seminar will be held 21 through 23 May 1996
in McLean, VA, at the BoozzAllen & Hamilton Auditorium, starting at
8:00 AM with a keynote address presented by Maj Gen Robert S. Dickman,

technologies which are applicable to the terminal and ground control
segments of future MILSATCOM systems. Presentations and discussions
should address terminal and ground control technologies (UHF, SHF, GBS,
