resulting from the solicitation shall consist of an Ethnographic
Overview and Assessment for Edison National Historic Site, located in
the township of West Orange, New Jersey. The primary purpose of this
study is to provide baseline data on ethnographic resources within and
adjacent to the site. Information gathered from this project will
assist the National Park Service in protecting these resources,
consulting with traditional associated groups and individuals,
developing culturally informed visitor services and conducting
effective community outreach. The offeror will be required to submit a
technical as well as a cost proposal, with the technical proposals
carrying more weight. The evaluation criteria and assigned values shall
be as follows: 1) Expertise in developing, implementing and completing
ethnographic research in urban setting for public agencies as
demonstrated by past and proposed research methodology (45%) 2)
Knowledge of social history and relevant technology and manufacturing
industries (25%) 3) Familiarity with the cultural resources at Edison
National Historic Site (20%) 4) Ability to meet administrative and
scheduling requirements (10%). All responsible sources may submit a
