16 -- NAVY AIRCREW COMMON EJECTION SEATS (NACES) SOL N00019-96-C-0110 POC Contact, Craig Curtis, Phone (703)604-2119 On a sole source basis to Martin-Baker Aircraft (MBA) Company, LTD of Higher Denham, Middlesex, England, the Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure the fiscal year 1997 Navy Aircrew Common Ejection Seats (NACES) and related support requirements. For fiscal year 1997, the Navy plans to procure an estimated total of 61 NACES for the Navy's F/A-18 and T-45 aircraft and for the Finnish F/A-18 aircraft plus associated spare and repair parts, engineering, logistic support and technical data. MBA is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of NACES and is the only known source possessing the requisite experience, production capability and technical expertise capable of supporting fleet requirements within the limited time constraints of the Navy.
