PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment to construct a 420,000 gallon above ground aircraft JP-5 fuel storage tank, a containment area and all its associated tank accessories access road and piping for the fuel farm at San Nicolas Island, Naval Air Weapons Station (NAWS), Point Mugu, California. The work includes demolition of existing tank, construction of above ground fuel tank, containment system and associated piping, monitoring and control systems, leak detection system, fire detection system, AFFF delivery system, replacement and expansion of existing fire water lines, oil water seaprator, sump tank with pump and carbon absorber. -- Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. -- The proposed contract is being solicited as UNRESTRICTED. If an award is made to a Large Business, a subcontracting plan for small businesses and small disadvantaged businesses is required. -- The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1629 and related small business size standard is $17,000,000.
