The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, Commercial Acquisition Department, Code 5913, intends to solicit on a Firm Fixed Price basis a Preproduction Model KG-29B 35MM Camera and LG-15D Magazine for the Type 18 Periscope manufactured and tested in accordance with government drawings. The contract will include options for up to 60 additional cameras and 97 additional magazines over a five year period. The requirement includes the following over the five year period: approximately 100 manhours of technical support service per year; teardown, inspection and evaluation of non-functioning units; repair and refurbishment of existing units, as well as new units; provisioned item ordering of spare and repair parts; and associated data. The requirement also includes an option for I-Level factory training. Government furnished equipment will be provided as follows: KG-29A Test Fixture, Type EH-109B Portable Film Processing Machine, TS100 1X7 Dot Matrix Interface Test Set, KG-29B AEC Calibration Fixture, KG-29B 35 MM Camera and KG-29B 35MM Test Set.
